1. How long after I register my vehicle as stolen, are my details on the database?
As soon as your payment has been approved, your details are added to our database.

2. Is there a limit to how much I can offer as a reward?
The minimum amount you can offer is $100.00. There is no limit above that. You can offer as much as you like.

3. How will I know if my vehicle has been found?
You will be notified via email as soon as your vehicle has been located.

4. How do I know where my vehicle is?
As part of your email, you will be notified of the address with nearest cross street. If for example your vehicle has been located on a freeway, you will be notified of the nearest entry or exit from that freeway.

5. Is it my responsibility to collect my vehicle?
Yes. StolenCarsFound.com will only notify you that your vehicle has been located. It is your responsibility to collect your vehicle ASAP.

Your reward cheque will be posted to you via Australia Post. Please allow 7 days for postage.

7. How do I check if a car has been stolen?
Log onto Stolencarsfound.com and key in the Registration Label of the suspect vehicle. If the vehicle has been listed on our database, you will be notified immediately.

8. How many cars are stolen each year?
Our figures tell us that approximately 93,000 cars were stolen last year within Australia. (Information supplied from the National Motor Vehicle Theft Reduction Council).
